Managing any kind of transition and all the emotions that come with it is a lot to handle. During our complimentary consultation call, Joyganize will help you figure out the best way forward. Then we’ll take the stress of logistics and labor off your hands so that you can focus on what’s most important.

Here are some of the life transitions we can help you with:

  • We’ll help you decide what to keep, discard, donate, and sell and then organize and pack everything so it’s easy to manage. We can also connect you with related service providers (movers, shippers, junk haulers, estate sale specialists) and deal with them directly if you’d prefer.

  • There’s no better time to declutter than before you move. Bring only what you need & want to your new home! And we know for a fact that buyers will check out closets and cabinets—anything that comes with the sale of the home is fair game. Beautifully organized storage spaces send the message to buyers that there will be more than enough space for their things. And we don’t stop there. We’ll also arrange your furniture and keepsakes so that they’re photo-friendly and open house ready. And for the full staging treatment, we can connect you with professional stagers.

  • We can make your move easier at any step in the process, from decluttering before you pack to the packing itself. And we can connect you with excellent shippers and movers or deal with them directly if that works best.

  • We’ll get you out from under those moving boxes in no time, with everything beautifully organized, too. Not sure where you want to put things or how to set up the kitchen, pantry, etc? We’ll help with that too. No more moves where you have unpacked boxes months later or where you put things away “for now” and “now” becomes “forever.”

  • We’ll compassionately & efficiently guide you through the often-daunting task of downsizing in preparation for a move to a smaller home, whether it’s a retirement community, assisted living, or a family member’s home. And we can handle packing, shipping, and hiring related service providers, such as movers, shippers, and junk removal services.

  • Expanding your household typically means adjusting multiple areas of your home and developing new routines. Whether it’s setting up a nursery or child’s room, converting a spare room for parents or adult children, finding space for a pet’s bed, food bowls, leashes and litterbox, Joyganize will help you welcome your new family member with minimal stress.

  • Whether it’s just you two or children & pets, too, Joyganize will help you organize your space so that everyone feels at home. We’ll figure out how to merge your belongings so there are no unintended duplicates, and we’ll create organization solutions that support living together in harmony.

SPACE MAPPING

Do you ever wonder if you’re using your storage space as efficiently as possible? Are you often stumped by where to store something new? Do you feel like you need more storage but not sure what to buy—a dresser, a bookcase, an armoire, a new closet system? Does organizing one area create the challenge of where to relocate items you want to keep but don’t belong in that place?

A Space Mapping session will address all those concerns and more! This is a big picture view of your space that helps you envision how best to organize each area. Or where you’d like Joyganize to start.

Here’s how it works:

Consultation Call: we’ll talk about your space, your vision for it (or lack thereof), and your main priorities.

On-Site Session: we’ll walk through your home or workspace and take reference photos and videos, strictly for our use. We’ll also take measurements and lots of notes.

Space Map Report: In 2 - 3 days, you’ll receive your report that includes:

  • An overview of your storage spaces (furniture and rooms): what they’re currently used for and ideas for how you can maximize them or use them completely differently. For example, maybe you’re storing suitcases that you rarely use on the floor of your bedroom closet when they’re better stored in the basement or the top shelf of a secondary closet.

  • For example, an entry in a small space that has a table when floor-to-ceiling storage with shelves and drawers would work much better. Or an empty corner where you could add shelving for books you want to keep but currenty have no room for.

  • We’ll provide general suggestions and measurements to make shopping and designing easier.

  • Our professional opinion on which organizing projects would have the biggest impact—and are likely the toughest to tackle. Now you’ll have a list that you can use for prioritizing or delegating.

Follow-Up Call: we’ll talk about the report and answer any questions you have. If you’ve booked a package, we’ll decide what project(s) you’d like Joyganize to handle. If you didn’t initially book a package, you can add one now.

STYLE SCALE

Ever stand in front of your closet full of clothes and say, "I have nothing to wear?" (You, and all of us!) Or are there situations where your wardrobe always comes up short, like a wedding, a job interview, an outdoor adventure? Or maybe you’ve discovered you have too much of a particular category or even color, like two dozen pairs of black yoga pants?

Paring down items in your wardrobe that don't best serve your current needs is an important part of wardrobe organization. With a Style Scale session, we take this a step further. We also consider what you might need or want to add to your wardrobe. Either something you don't have enough of or something you don't have at all.

Here’s how it works:

This is an add-on service to any clothes organization project. During clothes organization, we’ll consider your clothes and kindly help you decide on any you’re not sure of. Along the way, we’ll talk about your lifestyle and how you feel about your wardrobe. 

After your clothes are pared down and the closet and/or drawers are beautifully organized, the Style Scale session begins. We’ll take stock of what you have and walk you through our detailed clothes & accessories master list to help you decide what you might want to add. 

In 2 - 3 days, you’ll receive a beautiful checklist sorted by category that includes how many of each item you have now and how many you’d like to add. Use it to shop for yourself and/or share it with your stylist. You’ll also receive a list of suggested organization products perfect for your newly envisioned wardrobe.
